  2. So I don't sound redundant... I'm just gonna say. Tu(Oli), Tu(Isra), y Tu(Carnal) MUY BIEN!!!!lol

The show just keeps getting better. I especially enjoyed the opneing topic about the wedding and how the bride and groom react on their blessed day. Seriously... the comments expressed from that first bride was disgusting and a total lack of respect to her now husband. For Sara and I... it was a happy day. I the only regret we had was being able to dance more.

Wow the main topic about regional music is dead on. It's crazy but in So Cal these groups are literally worshiped. I'm not sure if you guys are familiar with Lupio Rivera, Espionza Paz, or the ever so catchy Tucanes de Tijuana? These musical acts are considered royalty. I can't say I have much to add about these bands but I do agree that they do not promote a complete cultural perspective of the Mexican or even Latin community. There is so much music that fit this genre I afraid it will never go away. In my opinion the genre of banda/durangueze is the equivilant of bubble gum pop muisc in modern music today.

Gratefuly you played the lasted leaked track from Interpol. And no Carnal, I was not tired listening to it again.

Last but not least the point about the social networking site were dead on. I've tried to slowly work my way from them. They consume so much time. But to agree with my Carnal... I miss Ringo. lol.

  4. Not yet... I'm working on a show that talks about the difference how women and men choose and relate to music. I'm too busy having fun listening to your show. But thanks for the support.

  5. hello, i know im late on this but who cares. in regards to music, you gota consider "what makes a song good to a person?" it could be the lyrics, the vocals, or instrumentation. but its not just one of those. because a song doesn't need all 3 of those to be a good song. to prove it, just think, instrumentals can be great songs without lyrics or good vocals, a'capellas can be great songs without instruments.

i think music is simply Feeling in the form of sound and those feelings can be silly, hate, sad, happy, dumb, or whatever. when you think about it, you either like or dislike a song for how it makes you feel. and a song makes you feel by its sound which comes from vocals/lyrics or instruments.

for example, country music, i dont like it at all cause i feel absolutely nothing when i hear it. but that doesn’t mean there isnt a single good vocalist or a single good instrument player or that all their lyrics suck. it could go the opposite way as well, a song could have an awesome vocalist, or great lyrics but that doesn't mean you'll connect to it and like it. and that's why Isra, when you ask "how can anyone like La Cumbia del Rio by Los Picadientes?" well im sure the people that like the song dont think "oh the lyrics are amazing" or that “this guy has the best voice”, it probably just makes them feel like dancing and they like it for that. again, it always comes back to how the song makes you feel.

so yeah, long story short (after i've typed up this essay, hehe...) i believe the quality of music or a song is based on the listener's feeling or connection to it.
